Another Y2K problem

I recently came across this Year 2038 problem and first I was irritated that just recently we got over the hype on Y2K (Year 2000) problem and there comes another one, why do the computers have so many problems?!?! However, soon I was very pleased. This problem just indicates how far we've come. When people must've decided on the time stamp of 1970 they obviously knew the limitation that in 2038 there might be a problem; but for them 2038 would've seemed eons away; that who cares what'll happen in 2038, that's nowhere in the near future.
