I enjoyed reading this book! It is Ina Garten's story right from childhood to where she is today and it was very interesting. There was a lot to learn. It showed that she is where she is today not just because of her skills but more because of the immense hard work she's put into her career. It tells you that owning a business is not easy. That spending all your time and energy on your business and career comes at the cost of personal time and relationships. Probably all these things are widely known but reading a true story makes it more real. Oh and the other big thing that you learn is - great success doesn't come without taking big risks. She left her job at the White House to run a bakery!
Recounting her trip to Europe with a budget of $5 per day is entertaining and inspiring. So are all her business ventures. Her love story is so sweet, truly amazing!
I was surprised that one could remember so many details.
All in all, I would recommend reading this book.
